Avoid at ALL costs. Chen Legal Group is clumsy, irresponsible, and unorganized. I closed on a co-op in early December 2025 and they were the seller's attorney. Firstly, they took 3 weeks to finalize the contract with my team. The contract was very poorly written with multiple inconsistencies and typos. According to my own lawyer, their writing showed a lack of communication between them and their client, the seller. When we requested alterations, they did not respond in a timely manner and often replied several business days later. I signed the contract on June 11. When we scheduled a closing date for October 30, they revealed on October 27 midday that they did not have the stock certificate or proprietary lease ready and needed 4-6 more weeks to process this! Clearly, they did not follow

The paralegals and the lawyers in this office are very patient and helped my parents. They are very nice people who have a quick response time. 5/5 stars!
