We had a simple real estate transaction this past Spring. I never met Mr. Engelbrecht, but his office staff was the worst I have ever encountered at a business. We were never advised of a date to go to court to complete the house ownership sale, or to sign paperwork. The woman I spoke with was curt and defensive just requesting information. We had to get the information from our real estate agent. Once everything was completed, I went to the office to pick up the check from the sale and the same woman was talking to a young girl and totally ignored me me for about 2 minutes, finally saying “did you want something”? I noticed our last name was spelled incorrectly and mentioned it. She curtly said “let me see it”, then just wrote over the incorrect letter and initialed it. She said “if the b

We worked with Charles Engelbrecht on a few legal matters in the past year; a will, parent’s estate, transfer of deed, selling a house, etc. Every transaction went smoothly and timely. He is extremely knowledgeable and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend!

I have never had an encounter with this man and as a person who doesnt know alot about law, i called to ask for his opinion. In the middle of my sentence he cut me off and said i dont handle these matters. So i said well could you recommend someone who does and he goes NO. So i politely said ok thank you for your time and he hung up. Rudest most unprofessional man i have EVER spoken with. I was just calling for some feedback and can say i will never recommend or go to him for a thing!

First and foremost, Ive never been big on writing reviews but I have to say my encounter with Charles Engelbrecht was one of the most unprofessional and unethical encounters that I’ve ever experienced with an attorney. I would go in to detail, but the situation is rather long . To sum up the experience, I would recommend anyone NOT to use his services and read the other reviews that have been posted about him. He’s horrible!!!!! How he has a practice, I’m baffled.

We have used Mr Engelbrecht for many years for our attorney. He has been very professional and very thorough. Would definitely recommend his services.
