I hired Margaret to help me with a custody case. At the first hearing on June 14th, the judge asked her to transfer my file from Spartanburg to Greenville and request a Guardian. What I didn’t realize at first is that she only works part-time, her paralegal also works part-time, and their office is closed on Fridays. Communication has been very poor, and many of my questions have gone unanswered. Billing has also been a major issue. She required a $4,000 retainer, which was nearly used up after just one hearing.
