I would not recommend Kristina Cevera Garcia for divorce representation. In my experience, she provided minimal support beyond basic paperwork and was largely absent throughout the process. Thankfully, my divorce was uncontested and I wasn’t seeking anything from my ex, but if your situation is more complex or involves disputes, you may not receive the assistance you need. Communication was a major issue. Months after the case was closed, I received an unexpected bill. I called multiple times, left voice messages, and even sent a certified letter requesting an explanation of the charges. I rarely received a response. I highly DO NOT recommend this law office. I signed up with them for a divorce matter which proceeded way longer than it should have. Many issues could have been settled if there was proper communication and proactivity. I was charged for emails and letters I never received and time that was never put into the case. When I would email them, responses were either delayed or non existent unless it was to their benefit. I initially was told I would be notified once my retainer fee was near an end, but rather was surprised with an outstanding balance months after it ended. Looking for an attorney you want someone you can trust and who will fight for you. Unfortunately, I did not find that. Please, whatever you do, don't sign up with this firm. I don't even know how they are in operation this, woman is a liar. She will tell you everything that you want to hear so that you sign up and give her money and then in court she will throw you under the bus, and side with the opposition, she will come ill-prepared to court and she will leave you in mediation for hours. She does not care in any way for her own clients. She will not explain anything.Do not, give her any money.And never sign anything with her. Even after multiple requests for my billable hours, i've yet to see it.
