I also had a horrible experience with Kortney Simmons. Kortney Simmons charged me $4,500 and did absolutely nothing on my case to help me. She told me things that were legally completely inaccurate and even tried to gaslight me in court by accusing me of "throwing a fit" because I expressed frustration around communication skills because it took MULTIPLE emails to get a response (sometimes 5+ follow ups). She rarely knew answers to simple questions. She has a temper and is just flat out hateful. When we were in court, I asked if I could speak to the judge and her response was that I'm going to do what I want to do anyway and didn't answer me. That's not an attorney. Nice place, however would not recommend Kourtney Simmons as a point of contact for an attorney. I experienced her as very quick tempered. Talks more than she listens and gets flustered easily during problem- solving - resolution tasks. I also don’t appreciate her openly discussing the matter in the lobby area of the firm instead of in her office when she got frustrated . Her voice began to rise first , and her facial expressions were flustered . Meaning, everyone in the office heard her and heard us . Not client confidential at all . I believe if she could be more empathic in nature , and patient she could assist clients better with the needs of all parties involved , which could strengthen her reputation for the brand of this office . The atmosphere is clean and the the office desk secretaries are very nice and attentive. Mr. Casey is a great lawyer who listens and does what he think is best. He will not take your money without him letting you know if you really have a chance to win. He is never too busy to call you back or meet.
