Carolann A Young & Associates

Carolann A. Young & Associates is an office of excellent attorneys. Associate Alec Boose is a very good family law attorney that is young and zealous. I highly respect Carolann and her skill and experience. Scott Walker is a seasoned attorney with great skill as well. I know when I refer clients to their office they will be taken care of.

I was asked to hire Scott at Carolann & Associates in 2020 to help with securing a right-of-way for my new construction. Scott was wholly inept and was useless from the start. He would not return my calls, nor did he do what he was asked to do. The secretary also was extremely condescending when I called each time trying to get a hold of the lawyer that I paid for! My builder and I had to take it upon ourselves to do all the work ourselves instead. Use these lawyers at your own risk!

Carolann's court room antics resemble a really horrible play. I am not sure if she has dysprosody OR if she intentionally chooses to slowly ask benign questions in overly emotive tones, at varying volumes. If this is nothing more than some bizarre shtick, it is unprofessional because it doubles, if not triples, the amount of time necessary. Would not recommend.

Simply put, Carolann is like a half rate Elaine Bredehoft, both literally and figuratively. She charges half what Elaine does, plus travel. I must also put emphasis on the uncanny similarities... Both are past their prime (never really got there) cat ladies who represent DV perps that have a propensity for def-e-cat-ing in beds. Both speak with a Perry Mason-esque cadence, which I must admit is both bizarre and entertaining, however still not worth the fees. If this still sounds favorable to you due to the commonality of the aforementioned or because she has experience with her own (multiple) failed marriages, take heed to the fact that her representation will amount to nothing more than wasting your time and money... less you want to support her ski instructor partner, misogynistic sons

The secretary at this law firm is incredibly rude. I called about a legal issue and was told “number one, I don’t know you, number two, I don’t know the person you’re having the issue with and number three, I don’t know exactly what issue you’re calling about.” I called another law firm and had an answer and an appointment within minutes. Manners and basic courtesy go a very long way.
