My initial meeting went well to set up a new LLC. After that I only received a bill for that visit. I stopped by several times and left several phone messages with no response. I know they have my contact info because I was mailed an invoice, which I paid. I really feel they should return my money. I though about filing a claim with the Oregon Bar, but is it really worth it for $175?

I came away from the initial meeting with Carol satisfied I'd finally found a legal expert who listened to, and understood, my needs. This was only our first step, but my confidence level based on her insights is very high. I look forward to completing my estate plan with Carol's guidance, and highly recommend her services.

Carol Prause is completely awesome. I chose her to handle my mothers small estate, she and her staff made things so completely easy it’s unreal. VERY reasonably priced very good and very personable.

I'm not sure what the prior reviewers beef is...however my experience has been completely the opposite. Courteous and Prompt...often met in their 'lobby' by John's wife who checks to see if there is anything you need while you're waiting. Professional...listens to all my questions...then asks some of his own...then answers along with some great 'what if's'. This guy can definitely think outside the box (and within the law). We've used him for more than 5 years for estate and personal, as well as farm and business...and were referred by another family member. Now that I think on it, I can recall 4 relations who use John Peterson.
