Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on one's perspective, I've had the experience of interacting with various attorneys. Layf Carlson is one of the best. He was thorough, he followed up, he kept me posted throughout the process and did not settle for what may have appeared to others as inevitable. After what seemed like a great consultation, we exchanged a few emails with Kimberley and then unfortunately never heard back. I’ve been never been ghosted by a law firm but I guess there’s a first for everything? It’s a shame because we were demoralized with our situation but our conversation with Kimberley gave us some hope. Huge letdown to be honest. Unfortunately, we couldn’t recommend. Not sure if this is normal from this firm. We would have preferred a rejection if they didn’t want to take us on, but to just not respond and leave us hanging for weeks left a bad taste in our mouth.
