I wouldn't suggest using Mary Burd's services. Not only did she nickle and dime me but she called me (her client) by the other party's girlfriends name while questioning the other party. She showed up late to multiple hearings when she told me to show up early to discuss things. Once her excuse was she turned off her alarm thinking it was 30 minutes later. The only reason I won my case was because I had all the receipts from the last 6 years prior to court. She also tried to get me to settle in mediation because he wouldn't budge. Telling me it's only "this many more" days a year. In the end I got exactly what I offered them in the first place.

I was with them for representation in my divorce case. I spent about 15k to have her paralegal tell me that my abusive situation and what happened to me wasn’t going to matter to the court. I was discouraged from getting a protection order that was imminent and should have been in place. I have been subjected to more abuse for two years until yesterday. I have been representing myself with the evidence I had provided fully for carper. I now have a permanent protection order obtained on even less than what had been currently happening. My children’s needs were completely overlooked and I felt like our case was just a bill and nothing more.
