I was calling to inquire about a case from 2016. The lady I spoke with advised me the case was closed, and the appointed attorney for the issue no longer worked in that office. She said the case was closed in 2017, and no further action was needed on my part. I was not feeling very confident in what I was being told that this had just gone away. I called the clerk of court, and I was, in fact, correct. The case was still open, and the only person that could decide on this matter was the actual judge that was assigned to the case back in 2016. This whole case was a misunderstanding and is a loitering charge. I was looking to get it resolved, and the public defender's office was much less than helpful. They provided me faults information on the case just to it seemed to satisfy such a small

Workload is too much to give u the proper representation u deserve . Basically if u have money and can hire an attorney do that because the best u will get from the PD is a deal. But u will be guilty.

Very good Public Defender. Would recommend to anyone!

Are they really here to help the clients or are they just getting a paycheck. I feel it's the paycheck only!!!
