One excuse after another on why they cannot stop the break ins to our home. After five criminal trespass, burglary and theft charges which have all been dropped. I asked for an order of protection to make the parents of a minor liable for her offenses...so why didn't someone suggest an order of protection after the first or second breakin. It has taken three years and self education to get the most basic protection for our home. Disappointed in the response time of law enforcement and CPS as well. They all Pont to the other guy as the responsible agency. The system is Broken. The rights of citizens are ignored because the individuals with the power to make a difference are too afraid to actually do something. Finally have made baby steps to resolve the issue.

Had a criminal case with an individual that cheated me and my husband out of almost $4000 that Corey did win for us giving us restitution payments. Over 10 years we have barely collected $1000 from this individual to date. I have reached out to Corey’s office, the district court and the victims advocate many times over the last decade why the payments aren’t coming in and why they’re not pursuing them with few to no results. The county victims advocate would occasionally respond to me and tell me she’s looking into it over and over again, but never any results except for oh my gosh, he’s not making payments and oh yeah, he owes you guys lots of money. We gotta look into this. Now they’ve told me the time limit is up and it’s all up to me To spend my money to do their job to get our payment
