Laurel has represented my landlord in multiple attempts to evict me. The issue is not unpaid rent, I pay every month, it’s that my landlord refuses to make necessary repairs. Only after I filed complaints with the local health department did my landlord hire Laurel to retaliate. Rather than ensuring there was any legal basis, Laurel went ahead and issued multiple eviction notices in December 2024. I am still in the same apartment in September 2025 because none of those notices had merit. In my experience, Laurel is willing to assist shady landlords in retaliation instead of upholding basic ethical standards.
