It is an honor and a pleasure to know Phil Hurtt. He has been our friend and legal advisor for over 20 years, successfully representing myself and members of my family in several cases. He is very knowledgeable and informative, taking time to explain legal issues or even referring us to professionals in other fields when we need help. He's a really nice guy!

Did a really good job at letting me know out of the blue that if I had a sugar daddy that it was between myself and God, which was super strange. Is really good at charging hundreds of dollars for making unnecessary and unanswered calls that took less than 5 minutes. Performed a great service of over billing with no action taken and also an invoice reflecting no actions taken with hundreds of dollars charged. Didn’t apply the retainer paid to the invoice upon receiving it. Is a great example of what not to do if you’re providing legal services, especially when invoicing. Should be investigated for malpractice and double billing.

Great group to work with. They listen to your concerns and take action. I am very pleased with Mr Hurtt and his staff.

Find a different law firm these guys are crooks. Phil told me he would file paternity for me if I paid $712 up front which was two hours of his time and the filing fee on May 2nd and I had until July 1st to pay the rest of the retainer. Every time I called they kept telling me they were working on it and "it will get filed". Come May 17th I got served by my ex because they never filed. They also refused to send my reply to her paperwork so I just paid for a different lawyer who has help me tremendously already. Just find a different lawyer and save yourself time and money.

Worst law firm I've ever dealt with. Unresponsive to our most basic requests for information about our case. Wouldn't return phone calls or emails. Incapable of sending our bills to the correct address. Secretary repeatedly misplaced critical information, without so much as an apology. If you're looking for decent legal representation, do not pick Branch & Hurtt. They are simply awful.
