My experience with Ms. Boykin was extremely disappointing. Be sure you read the retainer agreement -- she charges for work prior to you hiring her which I had never prior encountered and, to me, is unacceptable as everything prior to being a client should always be free as that's when you sell yourself. I'm an attorney myself and never charged for this in my practice, as well as minor copies, postage, etc. Furthermore, when I had an unhappy client, I simply refunded their money. It's never worth the review, the risk of a bar complaint, the hit your reputation takes, and it's just the right thing to do. Doing anything else is the epitome of why people hate lawyers.
