Black and Jones law firm gave me a wonderful experience between emails, paperwork, and working with their attorneys and office staff as well. Stephanie Siebold, who helped with my court date, was extremely helpful. The court date, in my opinion, went very well and was actually the easiest part of the entire application for disability process. Stephanie was so knowledgeable, very familiar with my case, and asked all of the important questions during the hearing, so that way the vocational specialist and the judge understood my situation and disabilities. The judge and vocational specialist/doctor didn't have to question me a bunch on their own. I had tried to find an attorney and law office to help me on my own, but did not have good luck finding an office who would take my case. Atticus

I’ve been working with Black & Jones in Rockford, IL for 8+ months with no success obtaining treatment—still no MRI despite a physician referral. Initially told it was due to a “bad video angle,” then Tracy Jones claimed the footage was clear, contradicting her associates claim, and also my account. They’ve ignored my emails and my ongoing injuries. I strongly advise anyone needing a Workmen’s Comp attorney to avoid them—they won’t fight for your treatment or compensation.

I had to call to get status for my case all the time. One and a half years of frustration. I believe they didn’t work for me. The settlement was not what I should have received. They didn’t fight for me at all. Tracy was rude and condescending towards me. I’m so upset, depressed and will never be healthy again. I do not recommend them at all. I trusted them and they obviously didn’t care. I never met with them, talked on phone a couple times. They got their 20% for fee and it’s regrettable that I will never be healthy again.

The attention to detail and the explanations I received from every single person , honestly it was EXEMPLARY…… This process can be very intimidating and daunting , no matter how many questions I had , they were all met with nothing but kindness and care .
