DO NOT USE!! Mr. Bergman is A very unprofessional and distant lawyer. I had Him for a case, and he failed to meet every single important aspect in regards of being a lawyer. I needed him to file a motion answer phone calls, answer emails and he didn't do any of that. He then had the audacity to say that I owed the state $2400 For his time. I had to reach out to the Secretary of State for them only to send an email for him finally to get back. Mr. Bergman is not worth the Time And will not fight back against the judges and The county attorney

He had only shown up once to see my kid. He didn't even show up to the status hearing. No one answers the phone amd you can't leave a vm. He doesn't even reply to emails so we have no idea what is even going on with my son's case. He wasn't even there for the Pre-trial conference iowa barely even have any public defenders so asking for a new one is a shot in the dark.

At first I thought he was a good attorney but he changed my mind. I wouldn’t recommend he doesn’t return calls, doesn’t come talk to his clients when he is suppose to! Doesn’t take blame for them never answering the phone instead they blame you for it!! You can call them 100 times, multiple times a day and they will not pick up. He also doesn’t file the proper paperwork he is suppose to when it needs to be filed. He is working against his clients instead of working with them to help them.

Mr. Bergmann is a great lawyer. He has a behind the scenes type of style and is very effective. I highly recommend his services.
