It appears Attorney Gregory Benoit is a gatekeeper to cases brought before the Statewide Grievance Committee. I was the plaintiff in a housing case against my landlord, who refused reasonable repairs at a rental home. My landlord's attorney was caught red handed fabricating repair appointments, for the sake of harassment and causing me personal inconvenience. I moved from the property and therefore withdrew my housing complaint, however I spoke with the housing court clerk and presented the email and text message evidence indicating this attorney has fabricated these repair appointments. The clerk advised me that this attorneys conduct appeared to be unethical, as an attorney's responsibility is to represent a client, not manipulate a case. I was advised to file a grievance. We just called this office to return a call to Benoit, he wasn’t available so we asked when he would be available. A simple question, yet his secretary Kate was rude, and unprofessional. She didn’t want to let us know when he would be available and wanted to find out why we were calling. We didn’t feel the need to let the secretary know any information as we asked specifically for Benoit. So don’t call this office hoping to get a professional attorney or assistant. You’ll be met with disappointment and a rude woman named Kate. Also do not call her “hun” as a figure a speech, god forbid you say this accidentally trying to be nice. Kate is woke. Lol

Mr. Benoit helped me get through a squatter on my property. He knew the exact course of action needed to be taken and was diligent about getting results. He was unrelenting and didn't stop until he got me results and a positive outcome. His secretary was also very kind and professional.

In my experience, he is very quick to file for court judgements against you and disinterested in working with you to find a mutually beneficial solution. I have called his office many, many times. More often than not, no one answered and I left a clear, distinct message asking for a return call. Rarely did I ever receive a response. This man does not list an email address for his "practice ", anywhere I searched for it.
