Before my review, I think the public should know that AZ law allows attorneys to pay for referrals. I am not alleging this firm compensated for the referral, but in my view, AZ law makes informal referral networks easy to form and may create incentives for questionable practices, that in my opinion can feel socially engineered. Over time I met many people involved in lawyer-referrals from online hobby groups like gardening, insurance, auto, and home-services circles — including a person who later became a party in my case and my own late mother. Idon't think I've left a negative review on Google but here's my first. I just called Becker & House PLLC, and only got as far as speaking to Mark House's paralegal, "Alyssa," wow she was SO RUDE!!! I disconnected the call. She was deliberately throwing words out with no further context, just legal jargon, then silence. and when i told her i didn't understand when she went very quickly from topic to topic, one sentence to the next, and said, didn't i just want a "deed" ? No, I didn't. But she wasn't pleasant not at all friendly, professional. or welcoming, as she just chattered on fast, tossing out a word here and there with no context.
