Emily is the worst attorney ever, which worked out great for me since my ex-wife hired her. I was dumbfounded by the lack of professionalism both in written correspondence and in person. Do yourself a favor and look for an attorney that does the job.

Did not send invoice informing of amount due, leaving me to (obviously) assume my retainer was still covering the costs. This was not the case, as I received a threat for my counsel to stop representing me if I didn't pay $1700. Shortly thereafter, I found out through multiple other sources that she had dropped me as her client. The letter came in today about why shes stopping representing me, the reason stated is it was difficult to communicate. I'd say so too, considering I'd have to send multiple emails, and call multiple times for an answer to literally anything. Not to mention shes hardly in office, and her receptionist will contact her and say " she'll call you when she's back in office", out of all the times I heard that, I NEVER got a phone call back. I would not advise this lawy

Jessica Read takes her sweet time to do anything, has very poor communication. Never returned my phone calls. Didn’t fight for hardly anything I wanted in my custody case, I felt like I did all the work and she just typed it up and got paid. Also got billed months later after the case was complete. Front office employees unprofessional and kind of rude.

Jessica Read was absolutely amazing! She was professional, kept me informed throughout the process, and presented a very thorough argument before the judge. I would definitely hire her for any future matters!

Jessica Reed never has the children in mind. She put my 9 year old daughter in tears. To get a hold of her, or for her to return phone calls to my children is ridiculous. The receptionist at Bean and Micken is very unpleasant and unprofessional. She has no receptionist skills at all.
