I had a consultation with Carla Castaneda about drafting a postnuptial agreement ( I had clearly stated this goal to assistant before scheduling). During the consultation, Carla said she wasn't sure she could take on my issue as it was different than other postnups she had done. She would do some research (using part of my consultation time) and get back to me. A week later, someone from the office called and said that Carla was unable to help me--she was unable to take on any new clients. Then why did she agree to the consultation? When I asked if I would then be reimbursed the consultation fee, I was told "I don't think that's going to happen". And what happened to the "research" I paid for? What a shoddy and unprofessional way to do business. Divorce with respect?? Good one.
