Their intake process was polished, and the first person I spoke with was kind, empathetic, and followed up by both text and phone, which felt reassuring at the time. However, that positive impression did not last. Once retained, it became clear that the firm’s primary focus was billing rather than meaningful progress on my case. After my arrest last June, my family helped me retain them within a month, and since then, they have billed us an outrageous $16,000—yet no progress with the case was ever made.
