I was assigned Sarah Riedel as conflict counsel after I declared a conflict with the public defender’s office. Unfortunately, her representation left me feeling abandoned and betrayed. Despite knowing the facts of my case — including a defective probable cause affidavit, prosecutorial misconduct, ex parte communications between the ADA and judge, and evidence suppression — Ms. Riedel filed no motions, raised no objections, and failed to advocate on my behalf. She also did not challenge judicial bias when the court refused to accept my pro se filings, leaving me in a constitutional vacuum where I had no attorney acting for me and was not permitted to represent myself. This law group did nothing in 6 months. We needed a judge to sign one paper and were sent in a constant loop of "we'll get to it" and when the deadline was up we had an officer go to the court house and wait for the judge to go on break to sign the paper. We're out $1,500 to them. Calls were never returned and we were never given a straight answer. Edit: They call 2 weeks after the deadline to say they finally have a court date set. HA. If they had any decency they would give us at least a partial refund for not following through on anything in a timely manner.

Do not hire her if you want her to represent you. She waited less than 24 hours to tell me I had court, did not show up and instead sent someone that didn't know his fi gers from his toes to represent me and would not ask for a continuance .

Been my Attorney for 16 years. I am totally satisfied with this firm and not looking for another because they have been there for me and my family. A family oriented firm that makes you feel comfortable and like you're a part of the family.
