Worst Attorney I Could have ever given my hard earned money to. No heart at all . Very dismissive unprofessional and so is a paralegal basically I was told to “shut up and listen to them do what they are told your kids are not the only children in the world” When I am paying you thousands of dollars to help me out of a situation and you make me feel like the victim when you are supposed to be my attorney fighting for me and I’m fighting more for myself that you are fighting for me. None of that Intimidating tactics matter, or works when I’m paying you, I am supposed to be the only one in the world that matters to you while we are in a meeting because that’s what I’m paying for ,not to be told you are not the only one in the world with children or to belittle me and make me feel small, eat

Proceed with caution. I wouldn’t give Childress a star at all. This lady took my money November 20th 2025 here it is February 2026 and I still haven’t heard anything from her. Please do not hire her to do anything because she will not get anything done. I called her office back to back with no answer. Please do not waste your time. I have to come out of pocket for another attorney because she haven’t done anything.

Worst attorney ever! Did not even show up for my court date, just briefly appeared to tell the judge she had a more important case in a different court and left me in a Zoom meeting case alone! Court has been going on for over a year she has accomplished nothing! Never has the correct facts about my case when talking to her! Can't seem to understand what I'm asking her to do and blames everyone else for her problems and mistakes! Would never ever recommend this person to anyone who has children, much less any other problem! Never ever ever use this person's services! Immediately after posting this review, she threatened to sue me for liable. Is this the type of lawyer that you want working for you? Seems no one has commented much, maybe she silences everyones freedom of speech this way!

Attorney Childress has been a life saver for me! She came highly recommended by a retired Shelby County judge, due to the unique nature of the challenge I was having at the time, that she had a special expertise for. I was at my wits end, and did not know what else to do. Attorney Childress immediately met with me, listened, made a strategy, and followed through. I am not sure if I would have been successful, without Attorney Childress's support, and so thankful that she was willing to work with me.
