I went to Mr Willis because of a previous experience where he and his staff went above and beyond for me and my family at a terrible time. I was confident i would get very good service this time too. However, after paying $5,800 up front and waiting over 6 months, we were still at a dead stand still. Total lack of communication. Nothing accomplished or filed. No description of services, no refund of any money that didnt get used. We had to terminate him and hire another attorney that accpmplished in a few weeks what Mr Willis couldnt in 6 months. Total expense for the finished job.....$388.00. Not to mention deadlines passed. Appraisals redone. Applications and paperwork completely wasted. We requested proof of work completed 2 months ago and still no word as usual. I wouldnt recommend him

This lawyer does just enough so you can’t get your money back then it’s a total dead end after that. I would not recommend him to anyone. I was trying to get my name changed and he couldn’t make it happen. RT went to court unprepared, blew the case then spun me around in circles for months waisting my time. I had no choice but to cut my losses with RT and use a competent lawyer who could actually get things done. My name is officially changed now thanks to a better Houston lawyer. I chose RT Willis because I live in deer park and because his low retainer cost but just remember you get what you pay for. In my opinion there are much better lawyers with refundable retainers so you get back what they don’t use. I basically threw away over a thousand dollars using this lawyer. I can not stres

He took my money a year and half ago and has done NOTHING! I have asked over the past year for him to file something or give me my money back and is all i get from the receptionist is "I will take a message". It's always an excuse. "The court house flooded, the froze has everything messed up with court." I was in the office many times they are nice and friendly i just dont understand why nothing was ever done with my case. I highly recommend you DO NOT use Mr. Willis. He will only rob you of your money with false promises.

This guy is an awesome lawyer and his staff is great. I faced prison time. After searching for lawyers all over the Houston area, I chose RT Willis on a prayer, literally. And I am blown away by the outcome. No jail time. No probation. Not even time served. No charge against me! After attending anger management classes, I am a free man. RT Willis, thank you.
