Amy was hired as my divorce attorney which included a QDRO for a 401k. Her firm altered the divorce paperwork by making a hand change which the 401k administrator refused to take. Amy told me a few times that nothing was altered and it was in the 401k administrator's hands. She was finally emailed a copy with the changes and the law firm went silent. This put the QDRO behind for over a year causing stress on me. If you want a competent lawyer, stay away from this one.

I was referred to Amy by a friend, and both of us had a great experience. Amy did an amazing job of listening to me when I scheduled a first appointment to discuss my options. When I decided to continue with divorce proceedings, the office staff found an appointment time that worked for my schedule. Throughout the entire process, every email and phone call was answered within 24 hours. I also worked with Amy and her staff to draft a will. Every step of the process went smoothly. I am very grateful that I was connected to Amy Thomas Perez and her wonderful staff for this difficult phase of my life.

Amy was amazing and provided seven star service. She was able to easily navigate through multiple hurdles during mediation. It all started from my spouse agreeing to nothing and then by end of the day to reaching a final agreement. Amy was professional, sensitive and courteous in all her communications. It has been 14 years since I divorced, but I have referred Amy out so many times. Amy is knowledgeable and very informative. She walked me through the entire process of what I would need to do. She was pregnant at the time but it never stopped her from taking care of my case. I would recommend her a thousand times.

I have waited to share this rating because I wanted to give Amy Perez Law Firm the opportunity to respond to us and to correct all of their mistakes regarding the divorce of my mother. I am a CPA and I am the Financial Power of Attorney for my mother. I do not recommend using Amy Perez Law Firm because the firm is not responsive, does not take responsibility for their errors, refuses to answer emails, or to return telephone calls. They keep telling me certain things just take a long time, well, yes they do if its not done right. I am so disappointed in this firm, it started off well, but as we got into more complicated items, such as the court ordered distribution of pension assets, the firm seems to be incompetent in this area and does not seem interested in resolving the issues.
