The attorney was very unpleasant and noticeably stand-offish, appearing annoyed that his time was being used. The staff was also not friendly, and there were subtle judgmental undertones, particularly toward individuals of minority background. Additionally, for anyone who is new to learning about wills or seeking guidance, this would not be an ideal location, as the environment does not feel welcoming or supportive.

If I could leave a negative number I would. It took absolutely forever to get a closing done that most of the work was already done on. The work that was left to do had to be done by the parties instead. There was zero communication about the closing. There were outright lies told via e-mail. The office staff was rude to both parties. Communication and professionalism to both parties were both nonexistent. Run, don’t walk to another lawyer if you have any notion of using this firm.

We had Mr Hyatt help us set up a partnership a few years back yet when we asked to have the percentages redone because of a death he seemed as though he could care less. We send many clients to Mr Hyatt but will not be doing so any longer. There are many more great attorneys in the Rock Hill area that we will use going forward. I just cant believe the lack of professionalism coming from a well known attorney. Its a shame the guys who were once seen as reputable are now the bottom of the barrel.

The staff were extremely abrupt, and rude at points. Communication was extensive prior to closing, yet there were phantom charges and fees within the paperwork. The customers that this Firm was representing were waiting in the back parking lot to be given instruction, leaving my agent, witness and me to wait 3 hours for closing documents... If my team weren't there to triple check the documents, I would have been stuck with extra fees that I had already discussed with the Firm's staff. Thanks

10/06/21 (3:58pm) Called the office today to make an appointment for an urgent issue with a very tight deadline. Unfortunately paperwork was just received yesterday and the deadline is a few weeks away. Whomever the lady was that answered was not very professional, was short in her responses and did not care to "listen" to what was needed. The only thing she wanted to keep stating was how busy Alton's schedule is and that we could not see/speak with him. All of that is okay, but the "delivery" of the information was very unwelcoming. I have worked with Alton before and he is not like this. It is a shame that the staff answering the phones don't have the same politeness that he does.
