Alf Langan Law Office

This attorney was very ill prepared for my trial. He also went against my mother during a trial that was not about me. My daughter is in a home with a woman who is abusive and my Ex husband was inappropriate with minors. I flew in from California and Alf did not tell me that the trial was on Zoom. I mentioned issues about the GAL and Alf did not remember. I believe that he has dementia and doesn’t remember things. My ex husband and his girlfriend got my child tested for autism which my child doesn’t have. I reported him to the board of Wisconsin for negligence and malpractice. *EDIT* Alf also went after my mother financially and lied in court in front of a judge saying that he had no contact with her after my trial which was false. Hire someone who is more competent. He doesn’t understand

Do Not Hire Him!! I asked him to represent me in a family court matter. When we went to court he was not prepared to say the least, he didn’t even know how long I’ve lived at my residence. At court he told the all he would have our motion in the courts within the week and here I sit constantly asking him when it will be done. He finally tells me it is months later and he tried sending it to me several times but it was blank documents. He never tried to send it via postage, he told me I can stop in sometime to pick it up and asked when works and we still haven’t been able to find a time that words for him. This guy is a joke and a half and should retire before he looses all credibility! DO NOT HIRE HIM!

Answers phone calls and emails promptly and with plenty of information so that I feel fully prepared. He’s the kind of lawyer that I had hoped I could be, when I considered going into law in college. We’ve gone to him for our will, a workplace issue, and a misdemeanor issue with one of our children. Having gone through the death of my father when I was 11, Alf understood the will / estate /revocable trust questions and concerns that I had. Now I’m 3/4 through divorce and I wouldn’t have gone to anyone else in Wisconsin for his areas of law. No question.

I'm not sure on other cases I see below are some bad reviews, but this guy sat on the phone with me and discussed things over, he answers all my emails in a timely matter.. so far he is the only that actually took time to talk instead of rushing into money right away. Like you should want to talk with someone who may hire you not rush it into money talk right away. Alf Legan did not, now I just hope for good news soon!!! Fingers crossed. 😊

Alf has always been easy to talk to and is full of great knowledge. I would pick him over any lawyer un this state. Has always retuned my calls and emails in a promptly manner. Thanks for your time Alf. Very appreciated.
