My experience with this firm was very unorganized and uncomfortable. The process never felt structured, and at one point Scott even forgot our deposition, which left me attending alone with the insurance company’s attorney. The results were predictably disappointing. It became clear that Scott and his partner prioritize their bottom line over putting in the proper work. There are many other attorneys who take their clients more seriously — I would recommend looking elsewhere.

My mother and I (since we were both on the vehicle registration) were being sued by an individual and his shady attorney for an accident that occurred involving a vehicle we had sold several months prior. We were in dire need of a reputable attorney for some advice and legal assistance. I remembered the firm, 1Law, because they sponsor a surfing organization (Western Surfing Association) that I'm currently employed by. I contacted the firm in search for some help, and got exactly that. Jason Velez went above and beyond to ensure that we were not held the least bit responsible for anything that happened involving the vehicle after we released liability. Jason is a very patient, personable, professional, and persevering individual who will not stop until a satisfactory resolution is reached.

Scott and the 1LAW team helped me and my son tremendously. We were involved in an accident with a street sweeper.
